3 WAYS TO MAKE MONEY WITH A LEASE OPTION
I always ask for the deed first because there is less risk but if I come across an owner who is not behind YET but in distress, I will try for a lease with option.
There are 3 ways to make money with lease options.
- Stay in the deal and do a sandwich lease option by getting a higher rental price from the new tenant than you have to pay a seller.
- Get a discount on the property. You will make money when you sell.
- Find a new tenant/buyer and collect a finder’s fee from them and then bow out.
Keep in mind that if you can’t make money one of these 3 ways DON’T DO IT!! It’s about making money-not just making deals to tell your friends about.
