CLOSINGS TAKE LONGER NOW
Any day now we should close on this rehab. Because of new trid stuff, they bothered me for ridiculous details- like why the termite repair invoice was hand done and not printed. I don’t know if this is a nutty lender or new rules. Getting nervous about using anyone who is not licensed. Has anyone had similar problems?
I asked the escrow agent to check again with the title company because I don’t trust any of them not to pull some last minute crap.
This has taken longer than I thought so when estimating costs, I suggest you figure on holding property 5 to 6 months. Things take longer to close when you have picky picky govt people looking over your shoulder.
