I got a call from a casting director for a show called flipoff. They wanted a pair of investors so i called my son Bill. We did the interview with me here in LA and Bill on Skype. In the interview we talked about a property i have under contract. The problem we discussed is that 11 people are living there and not paying. I told the seller that I am not going to close until they are out.

It’s a short sale and the bank wants to close on the 27th. I told the seller to bribe the tenants to get out now. I guess he did not offer them enough money because they are getting out the 26th. That is not good enough. He expected me to go ahead with all the paperwork for the hard money loan and appraisal not knowing if i am going to even close. No way, Jose.

I called Bill and asked him what to do. He said, ” we will pay them to get out early. We can have the film crew filming the move out and the cash for keys. It would be hysterical and good TV”.

However, i found out that they are not using our house, but have their own houses that we are going to evaluate. Bummer. So i find out thursday if i am accepted. Keep your fingers crossed.

As far as the house we are trying to get the bank to delay the closing. My contract says it has to be empty 6 days before close of escrow and i am holding him to it.
