Local Ca. law firm cited for fraud. Wow- i thought that only attorneys could do this because they can charge an upfront fee and call it a retainer.

They claimed to have special relationships with banks so that they can get loans reduced because of fraud. They also talked some homeowners into rejecting loan mods for banks because they could do better. Then the homeowners lost their homes.

If anyone knows of a reputable firm that does this, let me know.
