Hi-tech companies are moving there.
Yahoo joined the ranks of facebook, microsoft, and youtube moving to this area. Google recently purchased 2 large plots of land (12 acres) and is going to mov
e its hq from the west side. The traffic, congestion and lack of space there were reasons for its move.
Mayor Garcetti has made it his mission by offering generous tax benefits plus…..?
This has causing lots of building here for industries that are related and also to serving these hi-tech folks; Office buildings, restaurants etc.
So what about all those Playa Vista condos and surrounding areas like El Segundo and Manhattan Beach? What do you think is going to happen to the real estate here? Maybe the South bay will not do so badly after it loses Toyota.
