I apologize for not keeping this up. I moved a month ago. That was the easy part. The hard part is getting my house ready for sale. If you have never done a rehab you don’t know what babysitting 101 is all about.
Things don’t move along smoothly unless you are in there directing traffic. Since i am carrying the nut for 2 places, i am motivated to get this done asap.
Well, after our garage sale sat, we are almost ready to put my house on the market. The inside is perfect- looks like a brand new house. I had a staging lady come in and the place looks better than it did when i lived there.
Now i have to get rid of 8 years of irs files and boxes of closed real estate files. I thought i would have to rent a storage unit but someone told me that i could have a company come and pick the stuff up, scan it and then shred. So instead of a bunch of boxes, I have a cd.
I am not going to list it. What i do is have a flat fee listing company put it on the MLS with my exciting words and pictures. I pay a small fee. When you are getting up there in numbers, this is a big savings. So i only have to pay the selling broker. I think before i do that, i will put it on Craigs list and zillow. Heck, with the shortage of inventory out there, i don’t need a lot of help.
As soon as i get my flier done with the pictures, i will put it up for you to see.
