This was a great movie about the mortgage meltdown and subsequent stock market meltdown. The main character was a math genius who did complex formulas to be able to predict this.
Well, i had one semester of economics and i predicted it also. In 2015 when my hairdresser was buying 5 houses in Phoenix with no qualifying and no money, i knew something was not kosher. Since i also knew that they were packaging the loans and selling them to wall street, i knew that the market would collapse when the buyers of this crap realized the paper wasn’t worth anything.
I wrote lots of emails about this. Did anyone listen? We had a seminar in which the title was, “Tsunami coming”.
I sold everything in 2005 and 2006. Made a lot of money but what i did not think about was shorting housing stocks. Bummer- Next time!!!
